I Want That One!

Sophie never fails to make us laugh at the fact she knows exactly what she wants and how to communicate it to us.  On a visit to Cath Kidston to choose a new pillowcase for her bedroom she didn't hesitate to point at the one she liked, nodding when I asked her if that was the one she wanted.  

Just to make sure I showed her another (less pretty) one at which she pulled a face, shook her head and pointed again!

As usual she got what she wanted!

I think it looks great!

Retail Therapy............

I was feeling sorry for myself for having to work at the weekend and missing my little princess, who was ill with Scarlatina, and had cried when mummy had to go to work! (the guilt!) 

I took a wander into Convent Garden to clear the cobwebs! 

Treated myself to this little beauty............

A snip at £9 in the sale!  

Quite often we can get pretty dirty if we have to go out on a job at work, there are shower facilities to clean up but usually I just make do with a wash up and shower at home.  Now, with Sophie at home, I think it makes more sense to wash the railway off me before she wants cuddles!

This is perfect for storing all the bit's I will need (and the girlieness with stop the boys nicking it!!)

Sophie and Stanley......

It took me a while to work out what it was mesmerising Sophie as I changed her nappy in her room!
I giggled when I realised it was the CK Stanley bought from her by Auntie Victoria! She is clearly another fan!


I think Sophie will fit well into blogland!

Remembering Cath .......

In an attempt to encourage myself to prepare (and remember!) a packed meal to take to work with me, I treated myself to this little CK beauty...

'Candy Flowers' is one of my faves, its the perfect size for my lunch and a book and think (by Cath standards!) its a bit of a bargain!
As extra incentive I picked up these sandwich boxes while I was there!


They make me smile :)

A whole day of this!

Well all of us in blogland love our Cath don’t we?
I know it can be expensive, yes, it may be getting 'too' common, but it’s pretty and we like it, so why fight it?
Cath Kidston began 16 years ago in what she calls a 'glorified junk shop', selling hand-embroidered tea-towels, vintage fabrics and renovated furniture to the yummy mummy set in London's Holland Park. From this relatively humble beginning has grown a seemingly recession-proof 'global lifestyle brand'
I like to think that some of you, my talented bloggy friends, are capable of such achievement too!

I love the floral designs best, my all time favourite is the washed roses pattern, I just think It’s so pretty!
The vast part of my collection is made up from tins!
I like the 'useful' stuff, things I can use and enjoy on a day to day basis.
Shoe shine, first aid and sewing tins! They are so cute and I use them all the time!






Matches (that I refill because I love the box!) and a yummy tape measure that Victoria bought for me (what a star!)



I love the cleaning bits and bobs, anything to make the cleaning more fun! I love my dusters and this cute washing up brush. My spare carrier bags need never get messy with a little help from Cath!


More recently I wanted a few of the red polka dot bits for the kitchen I got the the oven glove but they didn’t have any of the tea towels in the shop so I will have to wait for a future visit!
I can put it all in my pretty tote!


Even my computers have Cath wallpapers! (get yours Here!)

I don't have any of the clothes but have fallen in love with this dress. I want!!!!!!
