New Year......New Life....

For James and I this couldn't be truer!!

This New Years Eve we are not only preparing to welcome in the new year but also a whole new exciting life!
Yesterday I was admitted into hospital to prepare to have our baby by Cesarean section, today, New Years Eve 2010!
Our 'little' bundle of joy is not looking so little and after a thorough growth scan last week we were advised that, for both my safety and the baby's, we should choose an elective c-section.
I was hoping that I would have a chance to have her naturally and am a bit sad that I won't get to experience a natural birth but my instinct is to trust that the doctors' advice is the best course of action to keep our baby safe.

So very excited and a little scared I wish you all fabulous New Years!
Enjoy your celebrations and I'll see you all in 2011!!!!

Lots of Love

Eeeeek I can't believe the baby will be born the same day as me!! What a special way to ring in the new year! I had 3 c-sections and I don't think I would have it any other way. Good luck Momma and Happy New Year! Sandy xox

wow, how exciting Kelly!!
I guess at least with a C section you will know exactly when bub will be born and maybe not as stressful as having a natural birth? I always think that when I have kids one day that I will opt to have a C section.
Cant wait to see your little girl :)

Try not to be disappointed about having an elective c-section. Both my boys were delivered by c-section, Dylan was an emergency c-section and Leon was an elective c-section. It was much better when it was planned that way and the healing time was much quicker.

Best Wishes to you and your family.

By the time you get this the word I should choose are
CONGRATULAIONS!!!!

What wonderful parents you and James shall be, and please
tell the honoury Auntie Victoria that Tutu wearing is totally allowed, as is fairy wing wearing and tiaras if you're an adult AND in my case, even a Mummy of boys...any excuse eh?!

Can't wait to see some photo action of our little princess. xxx
