Christmas Tour (part one!)

It's Christmas! This means my house is full of pretties and festive Yankee Candle smells!

Any of you who saw my Haunted House post will not be surprised to learn that I love decorating My home for the Christmas period!
I try to put the decorations up as early as I can and leave them for as long as possible! (mainly because the thought of the clean up leaves me shaking with fear!)
I have loved looking at all of your decorations so I thought I would share some photos of my decked out house with you all! (I must apologise at the quality of the photos, I think I must have been shaking with excitement when I was taking them!)

Let's start with the tree!

My tree is so big I have had to move my bureau into the hall to accommodate it! I did consider buying a smaller tree but when I mentioned it to Victoria she was so horrified I quickly settled on re-arranging the furniture!
As you can see my colours are traditional red, green, white and gold oh and a bit of gingerbread thrown in! (it smells divine!)

I love to change the look of the room by using different coloured throws on the sofas, Halloween means black but at Christmas it's got to be red and green of course! I also pull out the seasonal cushions, which are so comfy I think I may want to keep them out!

A red tablecloth, poinsettia and garlands! I love the little red snowflake buckets for the Christmas sweeties!

More Christmas pretties!

And in the kitchen.......................

More fun Christmas colours!!! (I hope Santa likes the plate I got especially for him!)

I think I like the presents more when they are wrapped up!!! I will miss them when they're gone!!!!

That's all for today folks, join me on Monday for the rest of the tour!

Lots of Love

The house does look fantastic and I told you that you didn't need a smaller tree! I think you've excelled this year.

I'm very jealous of your wrapped presents.... hopefully I'll have a similar pile tomorrow!

Youer home looks so seasonal. Love your tree, we have a large tree, I don't think it would be the same with a smaller one, what would I do with all the baubles we couldn't use!
