A Fairytale Come True......

I'm late in discussing THE wedding, I know, but can't let the occasion pass without comment!

James, Mum, Sophie and I spent Friday sitting around the TV in our pyjamas watching the fairytale romance of Prince William and the beautiful Katherine Middleton sealed with a perfect wedding!

I loved that, despite the fact that a certain amount of tradition and protocol that needs to be followed at royal occasions, the wedding seemed to truly reflect the young couple.
I think it is safe to say that the Groom driving his Bride from Buckingham Palace to Clarence House in an open top Aston Martin will be talked about forevermore!
It was certainly fun watching all the guests arrive and criticising appraising their outfits!
One of my favourites was Earl Spencer's Daughter, Kitty, who I thought looked amazing and really stood out in nude Phillip Treacy (her Sisters looked pretty good too!)

I have to give booby prize to Samantha Cameron!  Lovely dress but where, oh where, was her hat?

A couple of sparkly clips do not a royal wedding outfit make in my book!  That said some of the guests would have been better taking a leaf out of SC's book and left the hats at home!

After all the excitement we settled down to watch the highlights, munching on a special wedding lunch I whipped up (I made the sandwiches and that counts!)

And  enjoyed a glass of virgin fizz!

I can't wait to read all about where you were on the big day!!!

Lots of Love

Like Beki I can't get enough of it! I watched BBC till 4pm.... then the last hour on ITV+1, then E! (which turned out to be great coverage due to Angela Rippon helping the American's out!), then BBC's highlights and then the news out 10... needless to say I spent Saturday tidying up from the previous day!!

Victoria xx

PS why wasn't there a fb group dedicated to my backside after I was your bridesmaid?! LOL!

I had just finished a final on the muscles of the human body and there was no way I was waking up at 5 a.m. to watch...so I did the lazy version and watched clips throughout the whole day. I loved Kate's dress. And William and Harry? They are beautiful.

I'm still reading/watching things from the Royal Wedding. The hats are to die for!

Sam Cam looked like she was on a casual night out! It said on Twitter that Kitty & her sisters were going to do a pole dance 1/2 way through!!! I loved it, can we have another one???? xx

Can't thimk of a better way to spend a Friday than glued to the TV all day watching Prince William marry Kate Middleton, I probrably only saw half of it though as I spent the whole day crying!! How proud Dianna would have been of her sons, Lucey. xx

PS I thought the Queen looked pretty good in her primrose outfit and that "lovers knot" brooch was to die for.

I'm with you, if you don't wear a hat to a royal wedding when are you going to wear one?!

i figured maybe sarah didn't wear a hat as they don't suit her - i don't suit hats, so i probably wouldn't wear one either x

In Italy Betrice and Eugenia are now called like Cinderella's stepsisters, due to their awful hats!

Great day for them and us, although I only got to watch the coverage in snatch's. Kate got it just right, simple but stunning, they look very well suited. Harry looks very cheeky!
